Three Zapier builds, from AI content to lead routing.

Zapier is the right call when the stack is already scattered across single-purpose apps — Google Drive, Asana, Gmail, Slack — and the job is stitching them together fast. Below are three working builds: an AI content-repurposing pipeline, a full lead lifecycle wired to Asana, and a webhook-based lead-enrichment router.

Honest framing: these are self-directed practice builds made to demonstrate platform fluency, not paid client engagements. Every screenshot below is from the real Zap editor — the actual step configuration, not a mockup.

Overview
Zapier Zap workflows list showing three published automations: #3 Automated Leads Enrichment, #2 Asana CRM Lead Engagement Automation, and #1 AI Content Repurposing in Zapier, all turned on
All three Zaps, live in the account and turned on — not drafts.

1AI Content Repurposing in Zapier

Turns one uploaded video into two written blog posts, then routes the finished content to the right social platform automatically — no manual copy-paste between a video editor and a content calendar.

Zap canvas for AI Content Repurposing: Google Drive new file trigger, MP4 filter, AI transcript generation, AI blog post generation, looping to separate titles and content, then paths splitting to Facebook Pages and LinkedIn
New File in Folder → MP4 filter → AI transcript → AI blog posts → loop → path-split to Facebook & LinkedIn.
  • Trigger — a new MP4 uploaded to a watched Google Drive folder.
  • AI processing — generates a transcript from the video, then two blog posts from that transcript.
  • Looping — separates the generated titles and content into individual items for downstream steps.
  • Path A — Facebook Pages — published automatically when the blog content matches the routing condition.
  • Path B — LinkedIn — published automatically when the blog title matches the routing condition.
Scope note: the original brief also called for Instagram posting, spreadsheet logging, and audio-file support. This build reflects what was actually implemented and tested, not the full original wishlist.

2Asana CRM Lead Engagement Automation

A status-driven lead journey inside Asana — every time a lead's column changes, the right action fires automatically, from folder creation to follow-up messaging to the final service recommendation.

Zap canvas for Asana CRM Lead Engagement Automation: updated task trigger splitting into five paths for Ready to Start, No Response, Quoted, Approved, and Paid and Closed columns, each with its own sequence of actions
One trigger, five parallel paths — each Asana column drives its own automation branch.
Asana columnAutomated action
Ready to StartCreate a Google Drive folder for the lead + a Social Media Content subtask
No ResponseScheduled follow-up texts/emails, with escalation if still unanswered
QuotedWeekly quote follow-up messages
ApprovedPersonalized welcome email with the required PDF attached
Paid and ClosedService recommendation email — one of three variants based on service type

3Automated Lead Enrichment in Zapier

A webhook receives raw lead data, enriches it with company information, and routes it down a high- or low-priority path — high-priority leads get an AI-drafted email and an instant Slack ping to sales.

Zap canvas for Automated Lead Enrichment: webhook trigger, formatter to extract company URL, second webhook GET for company data, paths splitting into High Priority and Low Priority, high priority going to Google Sheets, Slack, AI email draft, and Gmail, low priority going straight to a Gmail notification
Webhook in → company lookup → priority split → Sheets/Slack/AI email (high) or a Gmail nudge (low).
PathConditionActions
High priorityLead meets high-priority criteriaSave to Google Sheets → notify sales in Slack → AI-drafted email → send via Gmail
Low priorityLead falls below the thresholdEmail notification to the sales team
Scope note: the original brief also specified a SQL database for storing processed leads and a more detailed scoring model. This build reflects the actual implementation — webhook intake, company lookup, priority paths, Sheets/Slack notification, and the AI-drafted email.
